1948 The predecessor company of NIKKO, called Asahi Precision Products Co., Ltd., was created with a capital of JPY 500,000. and started manufacturing cold finished nuts in 3-chome Shimizu-cho Sakai-shi.
1957 Through business merger with Naniwa Screw Manufacturing Co.,Ltd., expanded business further, which
ranges from precise cold finished screws, bolts, nuts to other machined parts, and established NIKKO
Co.,Ltd. in Yodogawa-ku Osaka-shi.
1957 Entered into a business relationship with Kawasaki Heavy Industries, Ltd. Akashi Works.
1963 Discontinued production of cold finished shafts, rebuilt the office building, factory, completed
expansion of existing factory, and built a new cold forging factory in order to improve manufacturing
quality and realize efficient mass production system.
1966 Purchased a site for new factory on 4-chome Yamaga-cho Yao-shi.
1966 Entered into a business relationship with Mitsubishi Heavy Industries, Ltd. Kobe Shipyard &
Machinery Works, Akashi Factory. (now known as Caterpillar Japan LLC. Akashi Plant)
1968 Built a new factory in 4-chome Yamaga-cho Yao-shi, and opened as headquarters factory.
1970 Entered into a business relationship with Mitsubishi Heavy Industries, Ltd. Takasago Machinery
Works, (now known as Mitsubishi Power, Ltd. Takasago Works)
1973 Opened tsukamoto branch office in Yodogawa-ku Osaka-shi and moved sales department there.
1978 Yodogawa factory and Tsukamoto branch office were consolidated into headquarters.
1989 Opened factory No.2 in 5-chome Yamaga-cho Yao-shi.
1990 Entered into a business relationship with Shin Caterpillar Mitsubishi,Sagami Plant (now known as Caterpillar Japan LLC. Sagami Plant)
1991 uilt a new office building in 4-chome Yamaga-cho Yao-shi.
1994

Opened factory No.4 in 4-chome Yamaga-cho Yao-shi.

1994

Introduced a new large-sized parts former (36X300) in headquarters factory.

1997 Introduced a new universal testing machine(30t).
1998 Acquired ISO9002-1994 certification for headquarters factory and factory No.4
1998 Entered into a business relationship with EXEDY Corporation.
1998 Introduced a new large-sized parts former (22X250) in factory No.4.
2000 Opened factory No.5 in Inami-cho Kako-gun Hyogo-ken.
2000 Installed a new automated production line for shafts in factory No.5.
2000 Entered into a business relationship with Komatsu Ltd.
2001 Opened factory No.6 in Yamaga-cho Yao-shi.
2001 Acquired ISO9002-1994 certification for factory No.6
2002 Extended ISO9001-2000 certification for headquarters factory, factory No.4 and No.6.
2002 Acquired ISO14001-2004 certification for factory No.5.
2003 Introduced a new large-sized parts former (24X250) in factory No.4.
2004 Opened factory No.7 in 5-chome Yamaga-cho Yao-shi.
2006 Extended ISO14001-2004 certification for factory No.5.
2007 Opened factory No.8 on Kano industrial park in Higashiosaka-shi.
2007 Acquired ISO09001-2000 certification for Factory No.8.
2007 Introduced a new coordinate measuring machine.
2008 Installed a new production line for sintered bush in factory No.5.
2008 Acquired ISO09001-2000 certification for factory No.5 (sintered bush).
2008 Entered into a business relationship with Komatsu Ltd, Shonan Plant.
2008 Entered into a business relationship with Hitachi Powdered Metals Co., Ltd. Matsudo Works (now known as Showa Denko Materials co., Ltd. Matsudo Works).
2010 Extended ISO9001-2008 certification for headquarters factory, factory No.4, No.5(sintered bush), No.6 and No.8.
2010 Entered into a business relationship with Komatsu Ltd, Oyama Plant.
2011 Introduced a new large-sized parts former (24X250) in headquarters factory.
2011 Received an “Excellent Quality Award ” from Caterpillar Japan LLC. Sagami Plant. (now known as Caterpillar Japan LLC. Sagami Plant)
2011 Received an “Excellent Quality Control Award ” from Mitsubishi Heavy Industries, Ltd. Takasago Machinery Works (now known as Mitsubishi Power, Ltd. Takasago Works).
2012 Introduced a new electronic thickness tester.
